Main functions and responsibilities of Movilex

Movilex has specialized in-house and subcontracted personnel for the recovery of ferrous and non-ferrous metals present in vessels, as well as for the management and treatment of other waste generated during dismantling operations.

Since commencing operations in Colombia, Movilex has dismantled the following vessels: INNOVATOR, DRAGA CATUMBO, CASANOVA, OCEAN TRADER, MV YAVIRE, MV PARMACAY, ATLANTIC, ANDREA B, as well as various barges.

The recovered and processed material is destined for international markets, primarily Asia, India, and Vietnam, ensuring efficient material recovery in accordance with environmental and operational standards.
