Brazil

ECOVIX is a Brazilian company dedicated to shipbuilding, located at the Rio Grande do Sul Shipyard, which is currently undergoing bankruptcy proceedings.

In this context, the bankruptcy authority put up for public auction the award of 38,000 tons of naval steel blocks intended for scrapping.

Main functions and responsibilities of Movilex

Movilex participated in the international tender, becoming the sole awardee of the entire 38,000 tons of naval steel.

The materials are being cut according to the specifications required by international clients, in formats of 1.5 m × 1 m × 0.5 m.

To execute these works, Movilex contracted several specialized companies, ensuring compliance with the required technical and operational standards.

The transformed material is exported to various international markets, primarily to Asia, with key destinations including India and Vietnam.
